Since formation ADA Associates have investigated and
reported on the circumstances of Road Traffic Accidents determining factors
effecting both causation and liability. Our expert consultants each have many
years of practical experience in investigating the circumstances and
reconstructing the events of serious and often fatal Road Traffic Accidents and
more importantly presenting that evidence in court.
We act on behalf of the Legal, Insurance and Transport
Sectors undertaking instruction on behalf of both claimant and defendant. We

Our investigations are comprehensive and may
include:
Accident Analysis: Collation and assessment of
witness evidence, condition and type of the vehicles involved, physical
evidence (i.e. debris on road), road design, condition and geometry, weather
conditions, technical data, accident statistics, road user behaviour and local
knowledge are all taken into consideration.
Scale Plans - Photographic & video
evidence: Are used to illustrate road geometry design and markings,
position of witnesses, present driver and witness eye views correctly by
photographic representation, post and pre impact path of vehicles, lines and
fields of sight, accident damage, injuries and other evidence believed to be
relevant to the investigation.
Accident Reconstruction: Information from tyre
slide / wheel grind, pedestrian throw, pedestrian speeds and movement, driver
reaction times, coefficient of friction values, vehicle mass / technical data,
angles at impact and visibility can be accurately modelled to estimate speeds
and determine the probable sequences of events.
Vehicle Examination: Experts examine the
vehicles and component parts for evidence of mechanical failure and defect.
Investigation of collision damage, tyre condition and contact marks can provide
fundamental evidence that may assist in establishing causation.
Witnesses Statements & Interviews: Our
consultants are trained in all aspects of investigative interviewing techniques
and will ensure that the information obtained is comprehensive, accurate, and
relevant to the investigation.
Even when the facts seem clear, or when the losses
incurred or the injuries sustained do not appear to have been inflated,
appropriate investigation can prove vital. Frequently undisclosed or unknown
facts are revealed which can have a direct effect on the client's liability.
